The womens Hoka One One Bondi X is a combination of maximal cushioning, for a smooth and soft ride over any distance and a carbon fibre plate, for extra propulsion on toe off. The carbon fibre plates that you will find in the Bondi X, the Carbon X and other brands’ carbon running shoes are designed to react more the harder you push them and can leave you feeling much quicker on your feet.

We do not recommend only using carbon fibre plate running shoes, as you can become somewhat dependent on the propulsion that they give and feel weak when going back to regular midsoles.  The Hoka Bondi 7 is the regular midsole, maximal cushioning road running shoe from Hoka if you do not need the carbon fibre plate.
